Getting the most out of my life is such an important thing. What that means really does vary for all of us.
Tampax asked me to think about what getting the most out of life means to me, so I decided I'd get a little personal and share my thoughts on the topic. When I think of the phrase "getting the most out of life" I always connect it right to happiness. Am I happy? Am I content? Am I miserable? To me, it means being happy and achieving things I want to achieve. It's always a work in progress. Not every day is going to be the best day, but it's my job to make every day as good as it CAN be.
1. Use your time wisely. There's twenty four hours in a day, and you have the same time that Beyonce and Oprah do. Granted we don't make the same amount in one minute that Oprah makes, but you get my drift. We all have the time to do what we want, so use your time wisely. Perhaps spending your entire weekend watching Netflix every. single. weekend. is not really the best idea. Just a thought, I won't tell you what to do.
2. Live your life. I know everyone still says YOLO (you only live once) and do what you want. Drink the wine, eat the cookie. I agree with that, but don't do stupid things just to say you did them. Within reason people, but definitely live your life and make yourself happy on a regular basis. Also, never let your period, a bad day, a breakup, anything get in the way of you living your life.
3. Don't live for others. You came into this world alone (I mean, unless you're a twin) and when it comes down to it, you have yourself. Your thoughts, your actions, and everything you accomplish every day should be for yourself. While it's important to do things for others (significant other, your family, friends) make sure you're not living your entire life for someone else. You need to live for yourself, and help as many people as you can along the way. You weren't put on this earth to live for someone else.
4. Be happy. This is the most important thing to keep in mind. Do what makes you happy. Do the spa night once a week, run that bath as long as you'd like.
In my first post about Tampax, I told you how discreet and tiny these tampons are. I took a shot of one sticking out of my pocket, but you can easily tuck it in so it's not visible. Makes going to the bathroom so much nicer and easier. Have you ever seen something so discreet in such cute packaging? I think not!
I’m sharing #Tampax in my life as part of an Tampax sponsored series for Socialstars.™ While this is sponsored, all opinions remain honest and my own.
