Star Power from Tarte

Makeup palettes are easy to find, but a good eye and cheek palette is a dime a dozen.

Luckily for you, I found the best eye and cheek palette. The double duty beauty day/night eye and cheek palette (say that 10x fast) from Tarte is phenomenal. There are two amazing things about this palette. The quality...and the cost. $28 for five eyeshadows and a beautiful blush for a high-end palette? Unheard of my friends.

The pigment is packed with Tarte's infamous Amazonian clay which helps balance skin so the makeup stays put, and these formulas are truly long-lasting. Something about this formulation makes the shadows more long-lasting than previous formulas I've tried, so I'm a big fan. Glimmer is a pearl tone with some beautiful sparkles in it. Twilight is a beautiful grey. Stiletto is a dark black which can be used for both lining the lids and smoking them out. Ladies night is a beautiful light grey. Sparks fly is a deep brown sparkly color. Lastly, the star power blush is a beautiful rose tone which is my favorite shade of blush.

This collection of shadows has a mix of lid, liner, crease and highlight shades. Within the palette, you get suggestions for two makeup looks (one for day and one for night) which will help inspire you to use all the colors to get the perfect eye look. 

The packaging gets a big ole thumbs up from me, because how incredibly adorable is it? "may the starlight be your spotlight" YAS GIRL! It's so inspirational, and just overall stunning. The packaging also makes this extremely travel-friendly, which is amazing, because it gives a day and night option + a blush so you have to take less products on trips.
