While skin care is important to me all times of the year, it becomes even more pertinent for me to maintain my regimen and ensure my skin is getting proper hydration. With the intense Arizona sun, I want to make sure I'm not letting my skin become lackluster, dull or dehydrated. This summer I've got a lot of favorites, so I thought I'd walk you through each one!
Kiehl's Super Fluid UV Mineral Defense Sunscreen
Since I'm a big sunscreen wearer, I think it's important to note that Kiehl's did something super unique by making this a true sunscreen for the face but also adding SLIGHT tint to the formula. It's so flawless and natural, it truly gives that "your skin, but better" vibe. The formula is super lightweight and gentle which is perfect for my silly sensitive and acne-prone skin. It helps with both UVA and UVB broad-spectrum protection which helps prevent sunburn and decrease that crazy risk of skin cancer. Truly a gem and a product I could not have survived without thus far since it is extremely hot in Arizona.
Ole Henriksen Grease Relief Cleansing Clothes
In case you didn't know I am somewhat of a grease ball. Sexy times I know. One of the first things I like to do after a long day is use one cleansing cloth to get the main layer of makeup off my face. This is usually the start to my evening skincare routine. While I've tried many clothes, I find these are the most effective for a number of different reasons. I did a demo of them over on Snapchat recently so make sure you're tuned in on the snaps since I test products constantly on there (username is 'Adaleta')
There are two sides to these clothes. The first is to exfoliate, and the other side is soft which is used to cleanse the skin (especially the more sensitive areas like eyes.) The complexity of this double sided cloth is pretty badass considering you can exfoliate your skin while having glycolic, lactic, and citric acids gently run over your skin. The eucalyptus scent feels and smells fresh and helps to absorb dirt and oil. It's a really neat innovation and I love the double sided concept. It's almost like getting two different wipes in one and I am all about that logic!
Garnier SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Water
The other method I like to do in case I don't have cleansing clothes is take a cotton pad (or three let's be real), dab some micellar water and gently wipe away that top layer of makeup. I find that the Garnier micellar water works the absolute best, and I've tried high end brands as well as similarly priced brands. Garnier works the best and doesn't clog up my pores.

Garnier SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Water
Nourish Organic Refreshing and Balancing Face Toner
This toner contains witch hazel, and witch hazel is good for just about everything. I like adding a toner some days, especially when I feel like my skin needs an extra good cleanse, because this steps adds an additional cleansing step (post cleansing cloth/micellar water) to ensure everything is off the top layer of skin. The rosewater and witch hazel is really soothing and balances the skin. I find that this step doesn't make my skin overly red, and I've used toners in the past that flair up my skin. This is one distinction from regular toner to organic toner that is clear as day to me. Spritzing to the face is also really refreshing at the end of a long day, or to help wake you up in the morning!
Nourish Organic Moisturizing Organic Face Cleanser
Fresh Soy Face Cleanser
The main reason I went to Sephora in Huntington Beach was because I needed a face cleanser because coincidentally I ran out of mine while on the trip. When I went to the store, I asked for the best recommendation of a cleanser that would be gentle, remove my makeup and also give me a little bit of that tingly clean feeling I like so much, it was the Fresh soy face cleanser that was recommended. It helps with dryness, dullness, uneven texture, firmness and elasticity while also being gentle and efficient. I have been loving this, and will be taking it with me on future trips without a doubt. Highly recommend!
Kiehl's Cilantro and Orange Extract Pollutant Defending Masque
Sunday Riley Luna Sleeping Night Oil
Several nights a week, I take a few drops of this night oil and gentle press it into my skin. Not only does this smell and feel amazing, but the results the next day are life-changing. This night oil is perfect for any and all skin types, and helps with wrinkles, pores and firmness. The goal of the oil is to give you a more youthful, luminous, even-toned face by the morning and it truly does just that. Speaking of wrinkles, I have heard good things about a Fillerina wrinkle product too!
One of the main reasons I love this is because it helps with visible redness giving me a more even complexion the next morning. Because I do have some rosacea I really like the fact that this can help keep the redness at bay. To me, this is a miracle product with countless benefits which makes this product worth the investment.
Nourish Organic Lightweight Moisturizing Face Lotion
This is such a lightweight formula that blends into the skin well and lasts throughout the day/night. It really softens my skin to give me a lot of vibrance. This lotion is the most effective when it comes to adding more vibrancy and life to my skin. I'd have to attribute this to the moroccan oil which helps to hydrate and replenish the skin.
Nuxe Crème Fraiche de Beaute Light
Nourish Organic Moisturizing Organic Face Cleanser
While I love this entire line from Nourish Organic, I will admit that this cleanser is my absolute favorite product and the one that's really intrigued me the most. I'm really picky about skincare, but I usually start off with just a cleanser once a day to see how it'll affect my skin. This cleanser knocked it out of the park for me. It doesn't dry or irritate my skin and it turns into a cream formula after rubbing on the skin a few times, which makes it even more hydrating and nourishing for the skin. I feel like it does get deep into the pores to help clear out dirt, and I always leave the bathroom feeling refreshed and like my face has truly been cleansed.

Kiehl's Cilantro and Orange Extract Pollutant Defending Masque
This natural masque helps to detoxify the skin. I also find that it brings back color into my skin and reduces the dull and lackluster feeling I have after going too long without a mask. The biggest benefit of this particular mask is that it's designed to address the effects of pollution on skin and helps to reverse signs of premature aging due to environment. All of that smoke you've been exposed to? All the pollution in a big city? This product will you out in a major way. Speaking of wrinkles, I have heard great things about a Fillerina wrinkle product too!
I find that when I'm consistent with this, the lines on my skin are minimized and the texture become smoother and more vibrant in color. Pretty amazing stuff considering it has been 110+ degrees here; the dryness draws all the color and life out of my skin but this helps to bring it all back!

Nourish Organic Lightweight Moisturizing Face Lotion
Nuxe Crème Fraiche de Beaute Light
This is a great moisturizer, and feels light and fresh on the skin. I interchangeably grab this one or the Nourish Organic one because they're quite similiar. It has plant milks and white blossom that hydrates the skin for hours. When I originally read the packaging, it eluded to the ability to reinforce the skin's natural water reserves, which is huge for the skin, especially in the warmer months of the year. This moisturizer helps your skin retain that moisture, and leaves it plump and elastic.
While I love the Nuxe Creme mentioned above, this moisturizer is thick and really does feel like a heavy duty drink for a dehydrated face. The cream is nourishing with collagen, hyaluronic acid, peptides, ceramides, antioxidants and colloidal oatmeal to help minimize the appearance of those pesky fine lines and wrinkles (I like to call them laugh lines!) The biggest difference in regards to this moisturizer over some of the others I use, is that fact that this truly does improve the texture of my skin which is one of the biggest downfalls to my skin. I have a lot of texture and uneven-ness and this really sorts me out and makes everything look more cohesive.
