Summer Time and the Living's Easy

Since summer started in Arizona about four months ago, I have been extremely diligent when it comes to sunscreen. There's nothing more important to me when I go outside into the sun.

You've probably heard me rave on and on about the Hawaiian Tropic Silk Hydration Weightless Lotion so much this summer, but it really is my favorite sunscreen. It doesn't let me get sunburned (make sure to reapply regularly), it smells fantastic and it also gives me that hydrating nourishment that my skin is so desperately desiring!
Since July has really been a month full of outdoor gatherings, like BBQs, I have been applying this stuff like crazy. I know what you're thinking. You're just going outside, and you're applying sunscreen like a mad woman? Absolutely! It's so important to have a healthy layer of sunscreen on (and reapply regularly) to ensure your skin stays protected while you're BBQing, drinking sangrias by the pool, even just enjoying brunch outside. If you're outside at all this summer, make sure to apply sunscreen!
At the moment, we are experiencing highs of 110+ degrees Fahrenheit so we are quite literally boiling, and I get a little cranky when that happens. Although it may be hot this summer, it doesn't keep me from going outside. I have brunches to go to, photo shoots to do for the blog, dinner dates, weekend plans, you get my drift. I need serious sun protection out there, and that's why I reapply religiously.
Every time I apply this lotion on my skin, it brings back memories of tropical vacations because of the scent of coconut and beach.
