Resort Staycation Essentials

This weekend I'm embarking on a really fun collaborative media trip in Phoenix.

Because it's a resort staycation, I thought I'd share with you my ultimate goodies which help make a successful resort trip, at least for me.

Because I'll be spending a lot of time at the pool, I need a bathing suit. This cute number from Cabana Life is really giving me all the feels. The pattern is so fun and perfect for summer. To go along with the suit, I need a little hat to protect me from the sun. While this isn't the big white floppy trendy hat that says "out of office" it is still cute and functional. Probably the most important item is my sunscreen. I've been using this Hawaiian Tropic number since the spring time, and it's been fantastic. I'll be slathering that on multiple times throughout the day!

While I do love to check social media often, I also like true relaxation time and having a book helps keep my mind occupied. I can sneak a few pages at the pool, while I'm lounging in the room, waiting for the Mr, you get the drill. This one, from Mindy Kaling, has been begging to be read from beginning to end by me so I am taking it along for the ride!

When I'm on vacation time, I use minimal makeup. I slather that sunscreen on, and just put a little bronzer (maybe) but always a cute lippie. This new multibalm lip and cheek product comes from Pixi Beauty. It's a lip and blush duo so I can brush a little on my cheeks, and lips to give me a little healthy flush to the complexion.
