Clarins Joli Rouge Brilliant Lipsticks - Swatches & Review

There's a brand new lipstick in town, and it comes from Clarins. They call them the Joli Rouge Brillant lipsticks.

These lippies have the exclusive Clarins Shine Booster + Complex along with fine pearlescent pigments. They give an incredible shine, and the mango oil is quite nourishing so your lips don't feel like they are dried out and cracking throughout the day. As much as I love my liquid lipsticks, I don't like feeling like my lips are falling off my face. There are ten (10) shades so you have your pick of which beautiful color you want to douse your lips in!

These lipsticks are available at all Clarins counters nationwide and online, retailing for $28 USD. The best part about these is they're really moisturizing, while being sheer and beautiful. While I'm a big lipstick wearer, I'm not usually the most receptive to sheer lipsticks, because I like intensity and I enjoy having a lipstick that'll stick to my lips for the long haul. While these are sheer, they do have a long-lasting power to them and I find that the stain of them is quite nice after several hours.

All in all, these are definitely getting the thumbs up from me and I recommend grabbing your favorite shade to wear with you this summer. The sheer pop of color is beautiful and will look excellent during these hot summer months.
