Lune + Aster is a new brand to me, but I was so excited when I received these in the mail from their PR agency. Just look at how beautiful everything is! Bluemercury is a high-end store that sells some of the most exclusive brands, mainly high-end cosmetics and skin care, like Bobbi Brown, Laura Mercier, Kiehl's, Oribe, Diptyque and of course, Lune + Aster.
The lipgloss is incredible, and while the color 'Rebel' didn't seem like it would be incredibly pigmented, it is so beautiful on my lips. The color blends perfectly with my natural lip color, and the gloss lathers my lips and makes them feel really nourished and plump. Retailing for $18, it has vitamins C and E while adding that beautiful pop of color. One of the biggest selling points is the shine that comes with it. The gloss is dermatologist tested, with no animal testing, gluten and paraben free, and also vegan. Truly a win win!
Mascara is something that is hard to find for most of us. When you find a good one that works for you, you hold on to it with your life...unless it gets discontinued. Each one can be hit or miss. This stratosphere volumizing mascara is a real treat for lashes. Even though I've steered away from lash extensions (due to the cost) this mascara truly makes me not miss the lashes. It retails for $20 and is paraben-free and provides volume and length with a unique blend of vitamin B5, vitamin C and peptides. Even when I'm removing the makeup at night, I find the mascara hasn't damaged my lashes, which is uncommon. Different mascaras have made my lashes fall out in bulk in the past, so this is a winner for me and my lashes.
Lastly, my favorite, the moonrise glow and contour bronzing palette. This is the bronzing palette dreams are made of, with the perfect bronzer and a beautiful highlight. This bad boy retails for $46, and is worth every single penny in my humble opinion. Never have I thought a bronzer is quite so creamy, perfectly colored and long-lasting. And the highlight? Don't even let me get started. Creamy, champagne colored, on fleek...the list goes on.
