If you watch my travel vlogs, you know that I went to New Orleans recently. Let's flip through my photo diary recapping the trip.
After the first evening's reception, we had some dinner at Cafe Adelaide. New Orleans is known to have delicious sazerac, and while I needed to try it, I didn't care for it too terribly much. It was overly sweet, which is of course the point but I wasn't feeling it *hand me a beer*
That evening, our first stop was Tujague's to try the Pimm's Cup. That was delicious, but even more delicious was dinner. You know how food tastes even more amazing when you're hungry? The bread was unreal...and the pasta was delicious with lots of creole spices all up in it. Yum!
After our first night out exploring (the pictures weren't the best quality) I got my makeup on and hit the conference. I wouldn't want to bore you with those details, so let's get on the afternoon and evening events.
Because we knew it would be madness around Harrah's due to the Saints' game, we walked a little ways away to Napoleon House. New Orleans also has a reputation for making a mean old fashioned, so I have to sip slowly and see if the hype was right. I ordered a delicious sandwich and devoured someone else's spicy beans. I'm a monster I know, I'll eat your food.
