Packing a small amount of makeup is difficult...especially for a beauty addict like myself.
Now... prep your tea, coffee, wine...whatever beverage you're feeling right now because this is one of my longer posts. I mean it's exponentially important to have options when you're traveling!
Let’s start with my excessive amount of lip products. SIX to be exact. This Bare Minerals lip-gloss is my favorite lip product to throw on when I’m feeling casual and want a little shine on the lippie lips. Another lovely natural lip-gloss is the Simple Beauty Minerals gloss as it’s creamy and covers the lips nicely on just the first swipe. The Lip Lac and Q pencil is perfect for a beautiful, natural pink shine to the lips. I have been crazy over Revlon’s lip lustrous line so I've been carrying at least one (if not two) lipsticks from the range. Finally, if I’m feeling extra daring and want to call attention to my lips (and I’ve exfoliated them thoroughly) I like to rock a Milani matte lipstick. When I posted this lipstick 'Orchid' on my Instagram, it seemed like everyone was all about this shade. Another bold option I've been rocking is the new ‘Carnal’ Estée Lauder lipstick. It's perfect for all seasons.
Now I suppose the rest of the products will come as no surprise. I have been 100% obsessing over the Anastasia Beverly Hills World Traveler palette and you know it based on my recent palette round-up here. Remember that I have combination skin and I always want to set the crap out of my makeup so when I see myself in a mirror a few hours later, my face hasn’t eaten all the foundation, blush, eyeshadow, etc. That’s why I always have some type of setting spray and my Urban Decay All-Nighter Setting Spray is the best setting spray when it comes to travel. I also really love the Too Faced Eyeshadow Primer Potion because it’s particularly excellent at keeping the shadow on my oily lids.

For travel where I know lots of photos will be taken and I’ll
be vlogging, I want to make my skin look as flawless as it can and that’s why
I usually travel with Makeup Forever HD foundation because my skin is the closest to
flawless with this as the base. I also like to use the Urban Decay Naked
Concealer to cover the dark circles and uneven skin tone throughout my face. To complete my natural look each day, I have been using the MAC 'Weekend Getaway' lip and cheek color almost every single day. Some days I even use it on my lippie lips which makes my makeup application even easier. Using one product for more than one cause is so handy!
When it comes to brows, you know I’ve loved the Tarte Amazonian Clay Brow Mousse for several years. My brows look natural, flawless and so much nicer specifically when I use this to fill in the brows. Much more so than when I use any pencil or product to be quite frank. Then I like to polish off the brows with the Anastasia Beverly Hills brow gel. If you follow me on Snapchat (add 'Adaleta') you know that I bought three of these brow gels this past weekend because they were $11 at Ulta. Did I need more of a reason that 50% off? ;)
Everyone and their mothers…and grandmothers…and great
grandmothers have talked about Jaclyn Hill’s new collaboration product, which is a Becca highlighter called 'Champagne Pop.' It gives you the most incredible
highlight that makes it look like you’re glowing from within.
Some new acquisitions that I raved about separately here
are my newest Estée Lauder products. This
includes the Little Black Liner, which is phenomenal and allows you to apply
the liner in three different ways. To top off the liner, the mascara gets the job done easily.
Moral of the story is I like to travel with my ride or die product because let's be honest, when I'm traveling and in a new city and hotel, I don't have time to mess around!
