Makeup brushes are a must. Absolute must if you're into beauty at all.
Sure, some makeup can be placed on the face with your fingers but certainly not all and definitely not well. Brushes and sponges were made for a reason: flawless skin! Recently I found out about Furless and I wanted to take a dabble in their brushes.
Now I am a big believer in soft, effective brushes. You'll remember my recent post about the Real Techniques brushes and how utterly crappy some of those brushes from the new collection were. So you know I'm being 100% honest with my reviews and recommendations. I kid you not, but these are the softest fluffiest brushes I've ever used and I've got hundreds of brushes people, hundreds!
Here's what this set includes:
Large multi-purpose powder brush
Angled contour brush
Multi-purpose blending brush
Angled eye kabuki brush
Eyeshadow brush
Angled liner brush
Small domed crease blending brush
Precision eyeliner brush
All of these are phenomenal, especially the small domed crease blending brush and the angled contour brush. I used the angled contour brush to apply blush and it really applies my Urban Decay blush so perfectly, it makes me swoon. The blending brush is a gift from the makeup gods because it packs the color on, but in a natural and very beautiful way. If reading through all of their reasoning here isn't enough for you to invest your dollars in high quality cruelty free brushes, I'm not sure what is. They're soft, effective, fluffy, long-lasting and just plain awesome!
