Anastasia Beverly Hills *new* Liquid Lipsticks

 I'm sure you knew ABH launched their new line of liquid lipsticks earlier this year. 

As soon as I could, I made the purchase from Macy's because I've seen Norvina and Jaclyn Hill swatch all the shades #Ineedallthelipstick

At $20 a pop, I would agree that they live up to their value. I did expect a bit more long wear out of them but I need to keep playing around to figure out what layer underneath the lipstick is going to lock the color in place. I do find that they are drying, but I find every single liquid lipstick I own (and I own too many to admit) makes my lips dry. I inherently have dry lips and struggle to keep them moisturized, particularly in the colder and hotter months of the year, but this liquid lipstick didn't dry my lips out as much as a MAC lipstick would for instance. It's drying, but not a grueling dry that leads to cracked and chapped lips. 

The color range is just incredible. I've actually never seen such a diverse and gorgeous collection of shades. If I could have a stab at all of them, I would definitely try each and every single one (yes even the deeper purple and black shade) because life is too short to not try all of the lipstick. The pigmentation is nice and I find myself applying two layers of these to get a full high coverage lip. The applicator is perfect for precise lip liner application. I find it so easy to slap these on!

I have the shades Lovely, Pure Hollywood, Sweet Talker and Retro Coral. Lovely is my favorite because it's a "my lips but better" shade and those are just the best. You can see all of these shades up close in this video (check around 13:40 for description and swatches.)
