While we are prejudiced for being cranky, moody and just "too much" during periods, I will be the first to admit I'm extremely cranky to the point of being a big B. When I'm in pain and just don't want to be happy go-lucky, it's tough to make me smile and giggle. The smallest thing can really drive me up a wall so I thought I'd share a few things that make me especially bonkers when it's that time of the month. Let's get a little comical:
1. Slow driving. This drives me insane when I'm having a great day, let alone when I'm in pain from the period or in dire need of a new tampon. I will get crazy on you, speed up and switch lanes and then stare at you aggressively as I drive by, trustttt me.
2. Slow talking or slow moving. At work, I'm all about efficiency. How quickly can I do X, Y and Z + who is responsible for X in order to get it done sooner? If you're taking an entire minute to tell me one sentence or you wrote a paragraph when it could have been three words, we have a problem. Please stop wasting my life and get to the POINT. Ain't nobody got time. Especially not now.
3. The smallest thing. If your IM comes off rude, if your email is short, if you look at me wrong, if your comment in a meeting sounds bizarre...basically all of it will piss me off and leave you on the blacklist.
Who's with me on some of these? I'm sure I don't speak for just myself when it comes down to it. I'd say the moral of the story is, try your hardest not to be annoying, and we should be good during these times each month ;)
Because Tampax Pocket Pearl is fairly new, you may not have heard of it until recently or it could be totally unheard of to you. My first experience using Tampax Pocket Pearl was comfortable, and even easier than the typical tampon. One of the reasons the Pearl is so perfect for someone like me, is because of its travel-friendly size. This size also makes it so discrete so I don't have to conceal a larger tampon. So easy to throw in my pocket and go to the bathroom without my purse! You know I travel frequently throughout the year (I've been on a little break) but I've always been a fan of plastic applicators, but a smaller more compact one is even more ideal. It can fit even in my smallest bag (got this beautiful little number from a local artist in Cancun while on a vacation earlier this year.) The applicator makes it an easy application, which you just can't beat. Even if you're new to tampons, it's so simple and quick to learn to use.
Not to mention, the packaging is so incredibly pretty. I love the colors, and just how slick and cool the packaging is. The tampon itself is a beautiful blue color, so Tampax did a fantastic job making this an eye-appealing product. Comfort is a big deal, especially when you're dealing with something quite annoying on a consistent basis, and my comfort levels have been through the roof.
While you may be thinking it's a little odd to talk about tampons, I've been reaching for Tampax for years. Literally years. And Tampax Pearl is no different when it comes to the quality and comfort.
Tampax is the bomb dot com, am I right? Or am I right?
