3 Most Hyped Lip Liners

If you're a beauty maven or in tune with the beauty community, you have heard of these three specific liners frequently. Apparently one is used by Kylie Jenner, the other is a dupe for the MAC one and the last is highly rated by a lot of the London beauty girls. Are they worth it? ...Well that's what I'm here to share with you. Let's do this.

Charlotte Tilbury Lip Cheat in Pillowtalk is a luxury high end liner retailing at $22. This has gotten the stamp of approval from beauty girls in London. If you didn't know Charlotte Tilbury is based in London so the brand is still fairly new to the US. I fell in love with the magic cream a few years ago and I find that everything from Charlotte is top notch. This is a beautiful liner which can be worn alone without a lipstick or gloss on top, but I'll admit I do not like the fact that I have to sharpen the pencil. I prefer the twist version for all liners because having a sharpener is the most annoying thing when it comes to beauty products. I find the pencil is tougher to apply without some type of skill and precision, so this is definitely a pencil that needs some precision.
The liner in everyone's collection or everyone's wish list because it's supposedly Kylie Jenner's shade. While I appreciate her being an entrepreneur, successful so young and all that great stuff, can we all take a moment and stop kissing her ass? Act like a normal human because she's just another person on this earth. Now that I got that out of the way, I'll tell you my thoughts on MAC's Lip Pencil Soar. This is consistently sold out at every MAC counter you approach because it's the perfect mauve, pink shade. This is really drying which is the biggest reason I do not reach for it day to day. It's also a pencil, with no twist so I need a sharpener. Again, this just isn't ideal especially while on the go. It's fairly long lasting and can outlast a lot of eating and drinking, kudos Mac! This is the most drying of the three so I recommend hydrating your lips throughout the day.
Now my favorite of the three, the Rimmel Exaggerate in Eastend Snob.  This is the longest lasting, prettiest pink and feels the most comfortable on the lips. While it is matte, it isn't excruciatingly drying. Retailing at $6, this is the best deal and the best product in my humble opinion. The formulation is brilliant and the way this pencil is made, definitely allows for easy application. There is an angle to the stick so it's really easy to get the curves of the upper lip and precision on the bottom lip. This is a perfect example of higher end products not being worth the money and getting a better product from the drugstore for a quarter of the cost. I gotchu ;)

I will admit that these colors, while similiar, are definitely not the same. They're all a pink, mauve color with the Rimmel one being my favorite. What's your favorite pink and/or mauve lip liner?
