As I walked around the store recently, I was lured in by the Bobbi Brown goodies. Not the makeup per say, but the skincare. I started trying a few of the creams on my hands while reading the product reviews on my phone. Luckily for me, there was a set of three products in one so I decided to grab it so I can test a few items in Bobbi's skincare line. During the winter time, I need all the hydration I can get, so it was the hydrating skin supplements set that caught my eye. Let's dive into the details.
The intensive skin supplement applies easily. If you recall, a serum is gently rubbed between your fingers and patted softly into the skin. The consistency feels similiar to the Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair, but Bobbi Brown made this serum lighter, more soothing and much more moisturizing. I notice the bounciness in my skin the very next morning. This serum also helps to reduce visible signs of aging which is a huge plus. Ain't nobody got time for fine lines and wrinkles.
Now the hydrating face cream is light, yet moisturizing. It doesn't feel overly greasy or thick on my skin, which I am a big fan of because I don't like to feel like I've applied a face mask to my skin, when I've only applied a moisturizer. When I wake up the next morning, I feel this face cream still gently coating my skin without being overbearing.
The last goodie in this set of three is the hydrating eye cream which I can whole heartedly say is the best eye cream I've used. I do have to be honest with you though. I think more and more brands are coming out with ingredients they say are "necessary for your sensitive under eye area" but that's all bullshit if you ask me. Eye creams are not a must and I do find them a bit hokey. However I will say this one is light and feels fresh.
This set retails for $80, which is a steal in comparison to how much each of these products are on their own. If you prefer one of these over the set, you can buy it separately too. I just find I get the best bang for my buck if I pay $80 for a smaller size of all three.
Have you tried any skincare from Bobbi Brown?
