Best of Beauty 2015

Now that we've come to the end of December, it's time for me to share my favorite beauty bits from the entire year. It was really hard to pair it down to these, but these are definitely the winners from the year.

The eyeshadows were the easiest to pick, surprisingly. I am so impressed with Buxom shadows this year, as their formulation is truly incredible. I would say they're even better than the Lorac palette, but the Lorac PRO palette is such a ride or die. It's compact and easy to travel with and it provides all the colors you could need for a day or night look.

Blush has always been a favorite of mine and these two have been the most reached for month after month. Urban Decay came out with their afterglow eight hour collection and this is the shade 'Obsessed' while Illamasqua has a beautiful 'Naked Rose' blush that's really subtle and pretty.

Highlighter became my favorite makeup product throughout the year. More specifically the most talked about product in the beauty world this year was Champagne Pop from Becca Cosmetics. Mine broke from all of the travel, and I can't seem to get it back together (none of the hacks worked because it was shattered into a million pieces) but I use this regularly and will need to restock without a doubt

Quite possibly the greatest foundation of all time (at least for me) was the L'Oreal infallible pro matte foundation in the shade shell beige. I have normal skin, and this is definitely a great foundation for someone who gets a bit shiny throughout the day or really wants a matte finish. My favorite primer was the Hourglass veil mineral primer as that is the best priming and makeup setting product I've ever used. If you take anything away from this post, it would be that you must have a try of this primer. It makes your skin so smooth and creates the perfect base for makeup. This year's stand up concealer was the Urban Decay naked skin concealer as there's nothing quite like this concealer out on the market. You need a tiny bit of product, and it will cover up everything so easily. Kudos to Urban Decay for coming out with some truly incredible products this year.

My favorite perfume was the Viktor and Rolf Flowerbomb because it's just such an amazing scent. It's sensual, a bit sexy, and smells so alluring.

Last, but certainly not least, I picked my top three lip colors. The Urban Decay lipgloss was my most worn throughout the year. It's easy to throw on, lasts for hours and just looks good on the lips. Best lipgloss formulation hands down *bowing to Urban Decay* The Sephora creme lip stain in the shade '01 Always Red' is and has been my favorite red lip. The last one is a surprise for me, but comes from Anastasia Beverly Hills and is the shade 'Craft'. It's a beautiful dark berry shade that makes my teeth look so white. Truly a lovely color and perfect for this time of year!
