It's that time of the month where I share the past month's beauty
favorites!
Every month I enjoy sharing what I've been using...because it's so much fun sharing new products and new discoveries with you all. Let's dive right in to the September favey faves! Oh and if you missed my favorites video, you can check it out here.
The Macadamia Deep Repair Masque has been in my life for years at this point. They recently rebranded so the product looks different, and it smells different and tends to get more cakey in your hair now but it's an amazing product nonetheless that if used correctly can change your hair game drastically.
The moisturizer I've been loving is a bit unheard of because it's local and comes from a company in the Phoenix area. My aesthetician sold me on this moisturizer because my skin felt amazing a few months ago and I had to have it. Skin Script Cacteen Balancing Moisturizer is a little bit of desert on your face, as the ingredients are native to Arizona, and it works so well in hydrating that desert dry skin if you know what I'm sayin' ;)
Next you all know that I work with Influenster from time to time. If you have questions about joining, please let me know because I've sent so many emails about the company to my family and friends. Anyone can join and you'll get free products sent right to your doorstep. Can I get a YAAASS! Anyway, recently I got the YSL Rouge Pur Couture Mats lipsticks and I am so impressed by them. They're creamy, nourishing and still manage to somehow last on the lips for ages!
Now a few of you have asked me to try out more from Elf Cosmetics and while I haven't had the best experience previously with their makeup, I have enjoyed their brushes. They're typically around $3 a piece which is phenomenal. I've found that for blending in my concealer, the Elf Studio Pointed Foundation Brush is absolutely perfect for the job. It's small enough, but thinly packed to work very well underneath the eyes, on the forehead and also on the sides of my nose.
I never thought I would say that I liked a CC cream, ever again. I've disliked most of them up to this point because they're always so greasy. Ain't nobody got time for that! However, everyone was raving about the It Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC Cream with SPF 50+ so I wanted to give it a whirl. They were kind enough to send me two shades that will help me in the lighter months as well as when I get a slight tan in warmer months. It's very moisturizing, less greasy than most CC creams and really packs on the coverage is a flawless way.
Normally, I'm not the biggest fan of lip pencils but I've been loving the MAC Cosmetics 'Soar' Lip Pencil. I heard a lot about it from the UK beauty girls and so I had to grab it. It's my first MAC lip pencil (I think) and it goes with so many of my lipsticks as it's a variation of a pink nude lip.
Probably my most favorite favorite of the month is the Glossier Balm Dot Com Universal Skin Salve because it is so good! Extremely moisturizing and you can basically use it anywhere on your body- hands, feet, face, etc.
I'm not normally an Avon lover, but I received a lovely perfume last Christmas from my boyfriend's mom and I just recently started using it and I have to admit, I am in love. It's called Avon Luck for Her Eau de Parfum Spray and it's sweet, fruity and really works well with my body chemistry. Part of the charm of any given perfume is how it works with your particular body!
Last, but certainly not least, we have a bit more of skincare because let's be honest, I love skincare. I had the lovely opportunity to try out a few of the peels from Aqua Reveal and the one that I've been testing recently is the Satin Bright Soft Water Peel for Face. They have other peels too, but this is just a phenomenal one that's perfect for sensitive skin.
So, what were you loving in September? I'd love to know in the comments below!
