Marc Jacobs anything is just gorgeous *swooning*
In terms of packaging, there is just no comparison. The lipsticks are gorgeous with their sleek magnetic closure. The 'Marc Jacobs' writing on the lipsticks is just impeccable. It's kind of odd that I didn't go for ANY bright shades when I bought all of these. PS I also recently purchased a Kiss Pop Lip Color Stick (not pictured) and it's another neutral, light pink shade.
Now the lip liner consistency is in the medium range (not too light and not too overpowering) and I do love this shade because it's perfect for my natural nude lip. The lip creme has such a great rich and creamy consistency and I also love how light it feels on the lips. The lip gel feels even lighter which is incredible and seems almost unbelievable for the amount of pigmentation. Each of the products has great pigmentation with the lip creme having the better of the two lipstick products. The lip liner has great pigmentation and really lines my lips completely.
When it comes to lasting capabilities, the lip liner is a true keeper. I've eaten about three meals and found that the lip liner stuck to the outer corner of my lips without smearing down my lips and around that whole area. That's not cute. The lip creme is also very good at lasting throughout the day. It will survive one meal, but will not survive a second meal so think more of a three to four hour timespan. The nude lip gel will not survive a full meal because it is a much lighter lip product and it's nude. If you hoard dessert like I do, your lipstick won't be showing at all...just crumbles of cookie and chocolate. Sexy image I know.
If you're in the market for a luxurious long lasting good quality lipstick, I recommend both the lip cremes and the lip gels. The liner is obviously perfection so you can't go wrong!
