This year I was invited to New York Fashion Week...
I know, I know. Who am I right? Unfortunately due to the craziness of my day job (yes I do have one of those) there was no way I could take almost a week off to fly to New York. Although I wasn't there in person, I was sent a lovely array of beauty products which personal makeup artist Val Hernandez uses on Lubov Azria, owner and Chief Creative Officer of BCBG Max Azria Group to get her ready for a fashion show. Here's a list of all the products:
Cinema Secrets Make Up Bag and Powder Puff
Paul Mitchell Sea Salt Spray
Beautyblender Micromini
Embryolisse Full Size Lait Crème Concentre
Murad Vitamin C Cleanser Full Size
Skindinavia Finishing Spray
Tarte Lip Scrub
Temptu Lip Gloss
Youngblood Lip Cream
I have to say the powder puff makes me feel quite glamorous. I powder my face with translucent oil absorbing powder and this puff is so light, fluffy and fabulous. Marilyn Monroe-esque is you ask me. The sea salt spray was featured in my newest YouTube video which you can check out here. I am absolutely in love with this hair product because it gives my hair that lovely windswept and beach-ridden hair. Love the look! Now the beauty blender, don't even get me started! It's so damn cute because of its miniature size and you know what you use that for? Under eye concealer and under eye setting powder. If you ever need to get into a small area, that mini blender is superb. The creme concentrate is a nice radiant moisturizer that allows that healthy glow from within to come to the surface. It's a thicker moisturizer and creates a lovely canvas for the rest of the makeup. The cleanser reminds me of the perfect pick me up that gets the skin bustling with excitement and ready for the perfect picture. It's refreshing and gets the circulation going in the skin. The lip scrub is perfect for getting all of those dry patches and scraggly pieces of skin off the lips. It's not as good as my ride or die Bite Beauty Lip Agave Mask, but it's extremely effective and gets the job done. The lip gloss and lip cream are both hydrating and add that subtle hint of shine to the lippies. I've been wearing one or the other on any given day and I find my lips completely moisturized by the end of the day. Lovely set of beauty items!
Have you tried any of these products? What are your thoughts?
