I've noticed that getting organized and staying ahead of work load is tough.
Especially when you're juggling seventeen things at once. That's why I knew it was time for some more organization in my life.
Whilst having an agenda or planner still reminds me of Mary-Kate and Ashley in New York Minute, I think it's a great idea if you're looking to get organized. I can't remember which twin was the neurotic Type A personality with the organizational skills, but that's irrelevant. Do you even remember that movie?
Let's dive into the planner specifics, shall we?
The planner is separated by months and the month starts off with a 'Mission Board' which includes a "Plan and Attack" area. There are a few colored hexagons with the following sections: personal goals, me time, be social, health and fitness, house plans, dates and events and a few empty hexagons for your own creativity. I love this section because it helps me start each month with a fresh slate and include my plan and attack for each area of my life. Next, the month continues with a 'Notes and Ramblings' section which allows me to include my extremely important notes ;)
My specific planner is from Inkwell Press and it has an hour breakdown for each day so I can insert specific meetings, as well as to-dos that need to be accomplished within any given time slot. There is a section for each day to include meals, home, and fitness items which I think is motivational. If my planner continues to be empty in those sections, I reckon I'll get so bummed I'll do one of the three. Possibly a few push-ups so I can include something in the health and fitness slot? Maybe not?
Towards the end of the planner there is a section called "Fun Stuff" that includes pages to write down details about travel, gift ideas for loved ones, good movies and even good books to read. Then the planner ends on a lovely note...with sheets for notes, notes, and more notes! At the very back, there are mini folders to hold loose papers, receipts, and other pieces of paper.
Overall I feel more organized, and the planner is so cute it makes me want to organize and plan more!
