What's that on my eyes you ask?
Why it's a MAC pigment of course. Which I have been wearing almost every day and you would not believe how many people who don't even really care for eyeshadow have asked what exactly it is that I am wearing on my lids. Contrary to what some beauty gurus say, the pigment does not get everywhere. I'll teach you the trick. You know that Fix+ stuff the MAC sales associates always try to sell you when you've already committed to five things? Well, it actually does work wonders at keeping your makeup fresh and vibrant throughout the day. Even more importantly, if you spray a little bit on your eyeshadow brush it gives the pigment a foiled look when you apply it slightly moist. It's just downright lovely and there is no other way to describe it.
The shade I have been just drooling over is called 'tan' and is the most beautiful golden brown. It was one of five in the holiday
Objects of Affection Pink + Rose Pigments Collection. The entire collection is gorgeous, but I find that this particular color really works so well because even if you mess up with the pigment, it looks beautiful. Too much or too little of any other shadow would look ridiculous, but this just looks perfect in any state.
Do you own any MAC pigments? What's your favorite shade?
