Richmond Foodie Scene

Surprisingly Richmond, Virginia is quite the foodie city.
Now I cannot for the life of me remember the name of this restaurant, but it was good.

Reeeal good. Just look at beautiful medium rare steak. The presentation is spectacular, no?

The dessert, however, was even better.

All I got from the restaurant was this stand outside, but the 'H' still didn't help me remember the name.

Unlike most people, I like to take pictures after dinner and drinks ;)
Outfit details:

For lunch the next day, we went to Perly's Restaurant & Deli.
Look at these potato latkes! Scrumptious.
Then, my favorite meal of the trip. A deli dog topped with beef bacon and onions. Mmmmm

Just look at their menu. Everything sounds incredible.

For dinner, we went to Pasture.

Glass of wine. Grilled top sirloin. Steak, steak, and more steak for me! Mashed Yukon Golds.

Then for lunch the next day, we went to Rappahannock.
Tuna melt with potato salad as the side.
I'm going to be honest and tell you the tuna melt was not that great. This is definitely more of a seafood
restaurant so if that's your cup of tea you may like it. It just wasn't a favorite of mine.

The dessert was also a bit odd, with cardboard marshmallow on the side.
The berry jam was good and helped me eat the actual crepe cheesecake.
I don't think I would order this dessert again either so I do not recommend it.

Even more surprising was that the hotel food was delicious!
This was the 'Californication Burger' topped with goat cheese and avocado, along with some sprouts. Scrumptious!

Great views and pretty phenomenal food all around.

Have you been to Richmond?
