Exploring the East Coast FT. Brandywine Park & Shagbark

This is a photo of Brandywine Park in Wilmington, Delaware.

Last week, Kelly and I hit up the east coast to go on a road trip through three states.

We landed in Philly on Monday, so our adventure started off with some Philly cheese steaks. We then made our way to Delaware, and on Tuesday we spent a good amount of time in Brandywine Park, which is in Wilmington Delaware

To say it was beautiful would be an understatement. Even my photos do not capture the incredible beauty of the park. Fall was in full swing, and the leaves were changing colors. It was a fall wonderland, if I'm completely honest.

After our incredible time in Wilmington, we made our way through Maryland. We had lunch in Howard county, and dinner in Frederick County. On Thursday, we made our way to Virginia. We had lunch in Fairfax and then dinner in Richmond, which is where the rest of my photos were taken.

We made our way to Quirk Hotel, hoping to have a cocktail on the rooftop but unfortunately the rooftop was closed. If you're interested in going there for a drink, I'd recommend calling ahead, but we simply went across the street (Max's on Board) for a quick cocktail before dinner.

After some photos, a drink at Max's on Broad, we ended up going to Shagbark. This was such an awesome dining experience, and it really was such an interesting place to have dinner. Take a peek.
