Summer with Sally Beauty

When it comes to these hot summer days in Arizona, I like to have a specific regimen that helps keep my body feeling its finest. This summer, I’ve been turning to Sally Beauty to get myself feeling summer-ready.

When it comes to your heels, sandals and 110-degree-plus heat can destroy anyone’s feet. It’s so important to exfoliate those heels, and scrub the dry, dead skin off to ensure your heels stay smooth and don’t crack. For this, I love the Heel to Toe Exfoliating and Polishing Foot Scrub because it smells fresh and helps to break apart all that white, flaky skin to give the smooth heels we all so desperately desire.

After exfoliating the heels, the next most important thing for me to maintain in the summer is the moisture in my skin. In Arizona, we have extremely high temperatures, but it’s a dry heat. While this is better than having 110 degree heat AND humidity, the dry heat really sucks all the moisture from my skin. I moisturize several times a day in order to maintain my skin and ensure it stays soft. Moist Hemp Body Moisturizer is an excellent cream for the entire body. I grabbed cucumber jasmine, and it smells fresh and light and I don’t find it overbearing or obnoxious. It’s pleasant and can be rubbed into the skin pretty quickly.

For my hair, I like to rock something easy yet summery. BTZ Beach Head Tropical Texture Fast-Dry Salt Spray is my favorite. It dries quickly, and gives my hair the perfect amount of wave. It’s that quintessential sea salt beach hair, which is amazing, and gives you that “long hair don’t care” vibe.
