Marriott at Copley PlaceThese appetizers (onions rings and lettuce wraps) at Stephanie's on Newbury were so delicious. |
Not to mention my chicken and mashed potatoes!
If you have children or remember from your childhood the story of the ducklings, you'll recognize these structures. This is called 'Make Way for Ducklings' which is inspired by the children's book written by Robert McCloskey. The tradition with these duckling statues is that on holidays and special events, any given organization in the area may decide to dress the little guys. Here you will see them dressed post Mother's Day.
Union Oyster House |
If you know me at all, you know that I am not an oyster kind of gal. During my trip to Seattle (last year) I tried oysters for the first time and it was one of the worst things I had ever tried. These oysters, with this seasoning, were so delicious I don't really know how to describe them to you.
This is the Kennedy Booth where John F. Kennedy said every time he went to the Union Oyster House. It was pretty cool to see this and understand more recent history with the city of Boston. Sure, the Boston Massacre and Paul Revere are from the olden times but thinking of John F. Kennedy here in this town and in this seat really puts it into perspective. Boston is the city.
