Let's get down to brass tax here and dive right into my thoughts about all three of these (thank you Kiok!) I explained my skin type thoroughly and to be 100% honest with you, my skin is more on the acne prone side. It is extremely sensitive and I have to be very careful about trying new products of any sort. I'd heard so much about the Goat Milk and this was the product that got me interested in the entire brand. I'd heard it was light, creamy and works like a dream. Now the consistency of this moisturizer is indeed very light so it doesn't feel like you're adding a layer of product to your skin. This doesn't break me out, and it moisturizes well. I would definitely say this is a moisturizer that is suited for sensitive skin. Keep in mind it's got no SPF so if you plan to wear this during the day, I recommend having a base that includes SPF 15 at the minimum. Got to protect that beautiful face of yours!
The next product is just mind blowing. I have a dermatologist that I see regularly and I specifically asked what products she would recommend for helping scars heal faster. She told me that time is the only true healer and that any product that claims to diminish or improve appearance of scars is marketing mumbo jumbo. Well low and behold, the D-Scar product claims to do exactly that: diminish acne scars and heal them faster. It comes in a rollerball (metal) which feels really nice and cooling on the skin. I have been using this only once a day (at night) and I have seen significant improvement in the past few months. The Mr has also commented and said my skin is looking extra fresh (*instant thumbs up*) Now I'm obviously not a dermatologist and I did not go to medical school, but there is a explanation on their website in regards to how this product works and its specifics. It contains DS-7 which is essential to the skin renewal process. This ingredient is able to get underneath the outermost layer of skin to help the deeper layers heal from underneath. Like I said...not a dermatologist but I used this for just a few months and it did the job very well. I'm to the point where I'm comfortable going outside without foundation or BB cream. Amazing! I will be repurchasing without a doubt.
The last product I tried was the ExfoliKATE Acne which is so clever. I'm always up for a good name because let's be honest, a catchy name is gold in the marketing world. This is specific exfoliation for acne prone skin. I do have to be honest. I don't care for the scent...at all. It's minty, but has a clay and tea tree element which is a total buzzkill for me. For whatever reason, tea tree is just not a scent I go for; I put up with it when it comes to skincare because I understand some of its benefits but it's not a scent I would freely put on my skin on a regular basis. Thankfully, since this is an exfoliator, I don't have to use it everyday so I can suck it up. Scent aside however, this product really gets deep into my pores and definitely cleans very well. It gives a tingly feeling as you gently rub all over the face. After washing off, my skin is left feeling so good! Right after I've exfoliated with this, I notice my makeup applies much better and there are less dry patches around my nose and chin (the driest parts of my skin.) If it's wasn't detrimental to the skin, I would exfoliate with this more often!
