For some reason, I feel like I've never really bought into the idea of an eyelash curler.
Honestly I don't know what it is is, but the thought of spending upwards of $20 on a tool that never did much for me seemed like a waste. I see a lot of makeup artists, YouTubers, and beauty bloggers raving on and on about their curlers. I will admit: I still don't get it. I am someone whose eyelashes naturally go downwards which is unfortunate for me, but I do not understand the value of using a curler and pumping my lashes because they won't point any direction but down. Trust me when I tell you that I have tried every technique out there. Even the makeup artists at beauty counters have used their best curlers and have not seen any results with my lashes so it's not just me...I promise.

Recently I did purchase a new curler from Sephora. I picked a hot pink one, but they have a variety of colors so there's definitely one in there for you if you're interested. I'm giving the curlers another go in the hopes that consistent use of them will help my eyelashes not go downwards on the regular. Maybe they'll be straight or have a slight upward tilt to them if I use this enough? You never know.
