1. Ok we’re talking coffee – what’s your favorite seasonal drink from Starbucks or another coffee shop?
I used to be a Pumpkin Spice Latte kinda gal, but recently the Food Babe discovered that there is literally nothing pumpkin about the latte. Read more about that here. I guess now I'll be making my own vanilla chai lattes just as Estee recommended!
2. Accessories – what do you opt for, scarf, boots, gloves?
As I live in the desert, it doesn't cool down quite as quickly or as much as other areas like the east coast or European countries. I tend to lean towards wearing ankle boots as a fashion statement which is a break from flip flops and sandals. I do also love a good scarf from time to time.
3. Music – what’s your favorite music to listen to during Autumn?
I hate to be cliche, but I absolutely love listening to cold weather jams. I don't know the artist, but it all ends up sounding like holiday music but it's really just the type of music...am I make any sense right now?
4. Perfume – what’s your favorite scent for this time of year?
I found a perfume within my collection that I used to wear quite often: Dior's Hypnotic Poison. I think of it as more of a mature scent, but I got my first bottle a few years ago and now I still tend to lean towards the scent for the colder months.
5. Candles – what scents will you be burning this season?
Eucalyptus and mint candles are my favorite in general because they give the house a nice, clean scent. Having said that, I do especially love the Bath and Body Works apple scented candle for this time of year. It really makes the house smell like apple pie and like the Thanksgiving feast is about to ensue. Can you tell I associate a lot of scents with memories and other things?
6. What do you love most about Autumn?
I like all of the pumpkin products that come out early in September. Trader Joe's has delicious pumpkin cereal bars, pumpkin pecan oatmeal, and other pumpkin tidbits. Sprouts also has a delicious pumpkin granola bar and I feel much better eating that bar than the normal chocolate granola bar ;) The fall decorations come out, there's candy everywhere (literally), and people start discussing what they will be dressing up as on Halloween.
7. Favorite makeup look?
Red lips. All the way.
8. What are you looking forward to most in Autumn?
Excuses to wear a red lip & short-ankle boots. I do enjoy the cooling weather and of course all of the holiday events and parties that ensue. Bring it on!
