This past weekend, I was hanging out with the Mr.'s mom and step dad so I was invited to tag along for all of their fun weekend activities. Luckily for me, there was a concert in the park. As a side note, these mini concerts are at the Catalina State Park on the first Saturday of each month. Due to the insane weather we were having last week, it was cancelled and rescheduled so I got to attend my very first one here in Tucson.
The band was wonderful, and the music for whatever reason, reminded me of a dreamy beach vacation. I cannot for the life of me remember the name of the band at this moment, but they were excellent. Something to keep in mind is that when you go to a park, you have to bring essentials to picnic. Helllooo!
We prepared fresh guacamole, refreshing drinks, sandwiches, and other goodies. This is not like your typical picnic; this picnic calls for wine, cold beers, refreshing beverages, and the likes.

As if the band, wonderful company, food, and beverages weren't enough, just off to your right you can catch the most spectacular view. We are so lucky to call this home.
Overall it was a lovely Saturday spent at the Catalina State Park!
