Wedding Makeup and Outfit

This past weekend, I went to my first "official" wedding. A lot of people didn't believe me when I told them it was my first, but it's true! I do have to admit I was in a wedding as a baby, but I don't remember it therefore it doesn't technically count// Regardless of the history, it was absolutely beautiful and such an honor to attend such a special wedding.

I've never done a post of this sort in the past, but wanted to give it a GO! // Here's my OOTW (outfit of the wedding) for you! I was overly excited to get ready.

The Outfit

Dress- Macy's
Sadly, I had my boyfriend remove the tag on the dress because the back is see-through and I can't remember the name of the designer. I also checked my receipt and it doesn't explicitly say what brand it is so I can't tell you who makes this dress. I've linked macys.com if you're interested and I'm sure you'll find something appealing. I always find too much.

The Makeup:

After I showered, I started with applying No. 7 day cream moisturizer to make sure my face was not flakey or dry underneath my makeup.

Next I dabbed Benefit's "Pore-fessional" lightly all over my face, but focused mainly on my t-zone.

I used my Real Techniques sponge to apply my new Benefit "Big and Easy" cream (I will have a separate post up with a full review of this product.)

I used my Real Techniques Buffing Brush to dab a little L'Oreal True Mineral Powder to set all the face makeup.

Next I filled in my eyebrows with Tarte's eyebrow cream in the shade "Taupe." This stuff really stays on all day and looks natural in comparison to many other products. It's amazing!

Using my Real Techniques blush brush, I applied my current favorite blush: Mac's Stereo Rose Mineralize Skinfinish.

Next, I used my Real techniques buffing brush again to apply a last bit of  the L'Oreal Mineral Powder to reduce the oil and shine that is just inevitable. I mean it's a night promised to include lots of dancing!

To finish off the look, I added color to my lips. Using my new (amazing!) NYX butter gloss in the shade Pinky Nude, I applied a heavy coat on my bottom lip and then smacked my lips together.
Then I added a layer of my Body Shop Aloe Vera lipgloss to add some shine to the popping color.

TA-dah! The complete finished look!

The ultimate verdict? Weddings are beautiful and make me tear up...

Are you planning on attending a spring or summer wedding?
